Job Description
Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on an interdisciplinary project designing microfabricated biomedical sensors and readout circuitry for recording electrophysiology and electrochemical signals from biological samples. The project aims to detect cancer biomarkers from urine samples using advancements in synthetic biology.
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Nano/microfabrication experience
- Prior experience with designing and testing in vitro or implantable sensors
- Prior experience with printed circuit board prototyping
- Basic data analysis using MATLAB or Python
- Experience with microcontrollers
