Job Description
As an Accountant, you will prepare and maintain accounting information, assist in financial statement preparation, and communicate with stakeholders. You will handle daily accounting functions, prepare monthly management accounts, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Requirements
- ACCA and/or B. Accty. (Hons) qualified
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar position
- Excellent analytical acumen and strong ability with reading numbers and figures
- Sound knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Knowledge of Maltese Tax and VAT legislation
- Conversant with standard software packages, proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English
- Ability to work both independently and within a team and possessing strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet expected company deadlines
