Catholic Charities is seeking a PM Cook to prepare and direct meal preparation, execute and maintain an efficient food service program, and oversee kitchen sanitation and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have institutional and restaurant experience, good working knowledge of commercial food preparation and production standards, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Requirements
- Institutional and restaurant experience
- Good working knowledge of commercial food preparation and production standards
- Good working knowledge of all commercial grade kitchen equipment
- Ability to function independently and maintain self-sufficiency with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, flexibility, and willingness to shift priorities as needed
- Knowledge of the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base
