Job Description
The Risk Manager at Catholic Hospice, Inc. is responsible for coordinating, directing, and implementing risk management programs. This role involves identifying and mitigating risks to improve patient and staff safety within the organization, along with compliance with state and federal regulations. The position will also include education and training for facility staff.
Requirements
- Knowledge & Experience Requirements: Clear and Active Registered Nurse to practice in the state of Florida
- 2+ years of Risk Management experience
- Certification in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and patient safety protocols as well as Hospice experience
- Knowledge of applicable OBRA, Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities, OSHA, State and Federal regulations
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Knowledge of computer office/clinical software
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
