Accounts and Payroll Administrator Assistant

CC.Talent is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Account and Payroll Administrator Assistant to support an Australian-based organisation. The role involves supporting payroll and accounts functions, with experience in payroll processing and accounts administration required.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Payroll (or higher) OR proven experience in a similar payroll and accounts role
• Previous administration experience in a professional environment
• Strong understanding of payroll processes
• Basic knowledge of award interpretation, taxation, and statutory/ATO requirements
• Experience in accounts receivable, invoice processing, debtor follow-ups, and account reconciliations
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Moderate understanding of Xero preferred
• Experience using HRIS or payroll systems (e.g., ELMO) preferred
• Strong numerical, reconciliation, and spreadsheet skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and validate timesheet and financial data accurately
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity at all times
