Job Description
Support Recovery and Rebuild Families as a SUDs Counselor at Letty Owings Center. Letty Owings Center is one of the few places where pregnant and parenting women can receive truly comprehensive residential treatment while staying connected to their children.
Requirements
- Complete SUD assessments, ASAM level of care, DSM diagnosis, and clinical formulations
- Build strengths-based treatment plans and keep them active and collaborative
- Provide daily groups, individual counseling, and trauma-informed interventions
- Use MI, CBT, and stage-wise strategies to support change
- Respond to crises and complete risk assessments
- Partner closely with DHS, courts, and community supports
- Coordinate care across a diverse team of clinical and para-professional staff
