Job Description
Treatment Assistants are responsible for providing care and close intensive supervision to all patients in a 24-hour residential treatment facility. They work closely with the Milieu Supervisor, counselors, and other staff to develop and implement a supportive environment for patients.
Requirements
- High School or GED
- A minimum of two-years work or volunteer experience combination in related field required
- Knowledge of Twelve-Step Recovery process
- Ability to adhere to Central City Concern's drug-free workplace
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, twist, pull and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check
- Must adhere to agency's non-discrimination policies
- Ability to effectively interact with coworkers and patients with diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
- Must possess a current driver's license, pass a DMV background check and be designated an "acceptable" driver as outlined in Central City Concern's Fleet Safety Policy
