Job Description
CDM Smith is looking for a Senior Professional Electrical Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience designing power systems, conducting power system analysis, and working with industry and federal codes and standards. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Technology, and a Professional Engineering (PE) license. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Technology, or related discipline
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- 7 years of related experience
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required
- Experience designing power systems for water, wastewater, industrial, federal, and transit facilities
- Experience designing medium and low-voltage power distribution systems
- Familiar with industry and federal codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, UFC, etc.)
- Experience conducting power system analysis using software such as SKM Power Tools for Windows and ETAP
