Fire Protection Engineer

CDM Smith is seeking a talented Fire Protection Engineer to contribute to projects that protect lives and property while helping shape resilient and sustainable environments. The role can be based out of any U.S. based office and offers a hybrid work environment.

Requirements

• Develop comprehensive fire protection engineering designs
• Act as QFPE for work with federal projects
• Review draft designs to ensure compliance with regulations
• Perform other duties of basic to high complexity
• Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals
• Meet with current and potential clients to review design needs
• Perform site assessments and studies
• Attend conferences to improve firm visibility
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff
