The Project Technical Leader (PTL) role is an important role for the firm that will focus on key areas of technical delivery, developing and driving the technical vision of the project.
Requirements
- Creates water and wastewater treatment facilities, water and sewer systems, pipelines, pump stations, etc. engineering designs of basic to high complexity
- Reviews draft designs and reports for compliance with federal, state and local regulations and signs off on completed designs
- Contributes to firm's Technical Knowledge Management by developing white papers and technical design documentation
- Collaborates with sales staff to create proposals in response to current and potential client requests for proposal (RFPs)
- Meets with current and potential future clients to review their current and future design needs
- Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff
- Mentors more junior staff and develops them for future growth within the discipline and firm
