Job Description
The San Francisco Chronicle is seeking a Datebook Intern for the summer 2026. The role involves brainstorming, researching, writing, and potentially collaborating with art directors, providing a platform to learn the field of arts journalism in the Bay Area. The internship offers training and mentorship, and is intended for college students.
Requirements
- Must be able to work out of the San Francisco and greater Bay Area.
- Weekend, evening, and holiday work is required.
- 40 hours a week for 12 weeks.
- Strong writing skills
- Dedication to accuracy, fairness, and inclusiveness
- Newsroom experience (high school/college publication, internship preferred)
