Building Substitute Teacher

Cedar Rapids Prep is a tuition-free, college-preparatory school seeking a Building Substitute Teacher to provide consistent, reliable coverage for teacher absences. The successful candidate will be familiar with the school's routines, students, and culture, and will support both staff and scholars.

Requirements

• Implements primary teacher's lesson plans and begins instruction right away
• Organizes and prepares necessary classroom materials
• Reviews student work and provides feedback or grades as appropriate
• Fosters a positive, supportive learning environment for all students
• Collaborates with fellow faculty and staff as an active team member

Benefits

• $100 per half day of coverage (4 hours)
• $200 per full day of coverage (8 hours)
