Electrical Maintenance Technician.

We are recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Advanced Elastomer Systems (AES) plant in Newport, South Wales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with modern electrical control equipment and distribution networks.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering (HNC minimum) or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and experience using safety related systems
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
• Experience with PLCs, fault finding, and programming
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems
• Experience with AC and DC electrical drives
• Ability to lead and coordinate a small electrical team
• Ability to deliver electrical training
• Ability to manage and prioritize own work
