Mechanical Process Technician

We are recruiting Process Technicians to join us at the Advanced Elastomer Systems (AES) plant in Newport, South Wales. As a Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring production lines operate flawlessly to maintain the exceptional quality our customers love.

Requirements

• Operating extrusion equipment via control room and field based control systems
• 1st response to breakdowns, basic fault finding, and support with maintenance and repairs
• Monitoring plant performance and diagnosing faults
• Maximise reliability through executing operator care rounds
• Work within shift to ensure delivery of individual and team responsibilities and objectives
• Conduct detailed shift handovers
• Fork lift truck operation
• Issue work permits for operations and tanker offloading areas
