Senior Lead Engineer, Electrical Design - Power 1

The Senior Lead Power Engineer develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications, researching system ideas, drawing up plans, and providing support throughout manufacturing.

Requirements

• Design, develop and implement technical solutions for complex projects
• Participate in project planning and scheduling
• Global SME with comprehensive knowledge and industry recognition
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a global team of engineers
• Reviews and interprets customer specifications and may act as primary customer contact
• Analyse trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
• Develop deployment strategies and plans
• Lead the deployment of strategic technologies/programs and coordinate global deployment efforts
• May manage relationships with key vendors/partners
• Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs
• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
• Solve complex problems
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams
• Analyse and interpret data and information
• Recommend modifications for systems
• Create reports and documentation
• May be a recognised expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas
