Senior Staff Engineer, Electrical Design

The Senior Staff Engineer, Electrical Design develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications, researches system ideas, and provides support throughout the manufacturing process. The role works in cross-functional teams to ensure robust and high-quality product development.

Requirements

• Design, develop and implement technical solutions for complex projects
• Participate in project planning and scheduling
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a global team of engineers
• Review and interpret customer specifications
• Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
• Develop deployment strategies and plans
• Lead the deployment of strategic technologies/programs and coordinate global deployment efforts
• Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs
• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
• Solve complex problems
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams
• Analyse and interpret data and information
• Recommend modifications for systems
• Create reports and documentation
