Application Advisor

We’re looking for an Application Advisor to join our GIS & Field Data Capture team in Calgary. Reporting to the Manager, GIS & Field Data Capture, you’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing Cenovus’s field data capture systems and applications.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a college diploma or university degree in Computer Science, or a related field—or bring equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support, development, and configuration, plus 2+ years working with Energy Components or similar programs.
• Possess strong technical acumen in Energy Components, with knowledge of oil sands royalty accounting and familiarity with the EC royalty module is considered an asset.
• Skilled in relational databases and SQL (preferably Oracle 19+), and experienced with application development concepts and configuration.
• Understand the oil and gas lifecycle/value chain and royalty accounting processes.
