The Peer Recovery Specialist will provide services in Withdrawal Management and Residential Programs to help individuals connect with resources that support recovery. They will assist clients with their recovery through personalized, one-on-one sessions and promote self-sufficiency and self-advocacy.
Requirements
- Certified Peer Recovery Specialist approved by the commissioner
- One (1) year of sobriety from substance abuse
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to learn and apply clinical data entry in an electronic health record system
- Knowledge of issues regarding confidentiality
- Background studies issued by the Minnesota Department of Human Services
- Strong verbal and written skills
