Job Description
The Center for Elders' Independence is seeking a Clinic Medical Assistant to provide routine support to the clinic staff and participants, including taking vital signs, maintaining cleanliness, and providing clerical support. The successful candidate will have a medical assistant certification, at least two years of clinical experience, and knowledge of medical terminology.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum of two years experience, clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Current CPR + First Aid Certification
- Good computer data entry skills
- Ability to work as a team player in a multi-cultural, inter-disciplinary setting
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service oriented with friendly, courteous communication style in person and on the phone
