Multicultural Outreach Coordinator

The Multicultural Outreach Coordinator develops and coordinates communications to positively influence community and religious leaders, government officials, health care professionals and media to increase organ and tissue donation among ethnic minorities.

Requirements

• Develop and coordinate educational programs, special projects, and publications and communication efforts designed to promote CORE throughout the region and increase public awareness of and commitment to organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
• Develop, implement and deliver educational programs, special events, and communication tools that target COREs audiences, positively predispose the public to COREs key messages and result in increased awareness and consent.
• Solid oral and written communication skills are required, as is the ability to meet deadlines, understand, track and maintain budgets and goals and objectives of the department.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work with diverse audiences, including volunteers, community partners, students, transplant recipients, transplant candidates and donor families.
