Job Description
The Chief Engineer will work on an assigned vessel on a regular equal time schedule and assist engineering and operations on the scheduled time on and off. The role involves performing inspections, maintaining records, and communicating with the Sr. Port Engineer to establish priorities and availability of personnel, equipment, and resources.
Requirements
- Experience maintaining tugs and barges
- US Coast Guard license as DDE Unlimited or higher on a Merchant Mariner's Document
- Knowledge of oil transportation and marine industry
