Job Description
The Materials Management Receiver participates in receiving, verifying, storing, issuing and shipping supplies, materials and equipment. They ensure accurate records in the Materials Management system, perform inspections, and handle deliveries to various departments.
Requirements
- Receives and unpacks shipments
- Verifies contents against purchase orders
- Maintains cleanliness of work area
- Inspecting incoming furniture and equipment for damage
- Transports supplies to requisitioning departments
- Restocks and rotates stock
- Verifies receipt of cylinders (properly secured and stored)
- Logs shipments and maintains courier deliveries
- Participates in fiscal inventories
- Maintains communication with Buyers, Customers and Supervisor
