Director of AI

Cerence AI is seeking a Director of AI to drive the strategic direction and execution of AI technologies, enabling the company to maintain its position as industry pioneers. The successful candidate will lead a team of AI researchers and engineers, develop and deploy AI-driven solutions, and foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and innovation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in AI research and development
• Strong focus on natural language processing, deep learning, and computer vision
• Proven track record of leadership in driving AI initiatives
• Solid understanding of AI algorithms, models, and architectures
• Strong knowledge of programming languages commonly used in AI
• Experience in leading and managing a team of AI researchers and engineers
• Excellent understanding of the AI landscape, emerging trends, and technologies
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence
