CesiumAstro is a startup that develops out-of-the-box communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems/Test Integration Engineer II to join our team.
Requirements
- Design, document, and implement system- and component-level test procedures.
- Execute functional, performance, and environmental tests to validate system performance.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide corrective actions during test campaigns.
- Maintain and improve test infrastructure, setups, and equipment.
- Lead or support system-level bring-up activities both onsite and at customer facilities.
- Perform end-to-end bring-up and validation of SATCOM links (RF, modem, and network layers).
- Ensure proper configuration management and hardware/software integration.
- Validate interfaces and subsystems during integration campaigns.
- Travel to customer sites for system integration, bring-up, field trials, operational deployments and system validation.
- Conduct off-site demonstrations of systems, ensuring reliable performance in real-world scenarios.
- Act as a technical representative during field activities, providing feedback to internal teams.
- Generate test reports, system integration records, and integration documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, safety standards, and customer requirements.
