Job Description
The Data and Analytics team at Chainalysis is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the DA team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data models, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to the data architecture within their cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/Redshift/Databricks). The ideal candidate will be a builder who transforms raw data into enterprise-grade datasets to drive business decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and deep experience with data modeling in dbt.
- Extensive hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying dbt projects in a complex business environment.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and translate ambiguous business questions into quantitative solutions.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD workflows.
