Chalk is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for Chalk's data platform, working closely with engineers and product teams to ensure accuracy and clarity. The role is ideal for someone who can read code like a book and turn complexity into clarity.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a technical writing, developer documentation, or software engineering role
• Ability to read and understand code fluently
• Experience working with AI infrastructure, ML tooling, or distributed systems
• Writing portfolio that shows ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail and organization
• Familiarity with tools like Markdown, static site generators, and Git workflows
