Job Description
Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Weld Destruct 2nd Shift position at their Spartanburg, SC facility. The role involves performing destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics, using various tools and equipment, and documenting findings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year related experience and/or training preferred
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day
- Safety shoes (composite, carbon, or steel toed shoes)
- Prior metrics and standard measurements knowledge
- Ability to tear apart a weld
- Knowledge of how to operate pneumatic and power tools
- Basic computer navigational skills
- Ability to use basic math skills
