Job Description
Head Start is a federally-funded program for young children and families, providing comprehensive services including early education, health, nutrition, and support for children with special needs. The Head Start Preschool Teacher Associate will work in a team environment, planning and implementing developmentally appropriate experiences and supporting classrooms, aiming to improve children's learning outcomes and living standards.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related education field
- Knowledge and experience in developmentally appropriate early childhood practice, child outcome assessment, child behavior management, and curriculum planning
- Commitment to working with families with limited financial resources
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to reliable transportation
- Physical ability to perform required tasks
