GL Accountant

We are looking for a GL Accountant to be the financial backbone for our seven growing entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience with financial software such as Exact Online and QuickBooks. The role involves managing financial administration, closings, and reporting, as well as identifying opportunities for process innovation and implementing new tools to elevate the finance department.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's (HBO) or Master's (WO) degree in a financial field (e.g., Accountancy, Business Economics)
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role as a (GL) Accountant or Assistant Controller
• Thorough knowledge of Dutch GAAP and demonstrable experience in independently preparing annual financial statements
• IFRS is a plus
• Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written) and a good understanding of the Dutch language
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
