Job Description
ChargePoint is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical development of their API-first platform and streaming capabilities. The role involves defining and building a scalable, reliable, and secure system, managing the platform, and driving API adoption. ChargePoint is seeking a highly motivated individual who has a deep understanding of complex systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building back-end software
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors
- Good in CS fundamentals - data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- Working experience of API-related functions, including API Management, Gateway, Translation, Migration, Service Mesh, Access Control, Observability, and Documentation
- Hands-on with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Gateway, WebSocket and related technologies
- Working experience with modern software architecture components (e.g. Distributed Systems, Containerization, Micro Services, etc.)
- Working experience in one of the cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
