Job Description
The Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach will develop a coaching program, including skill development, practice planning, and supervision. They will ensure all student/athletes are eligible for tryouts and provide mentorship to student-athletes, parents, and administration. The role involves maintaining equipment and tracking all reports.
Requirements
- Provide all required certifications (Maryland Certificate, MPSSAA/MSDE Coaching Certification).
- Completed emergency coaching as a part-time coach at the school.
- Ensure all students are cleared for tryouts by the athletic director.
- Conduct pre-season meetings with students and parents.
- Inspect and repair equipment.
- Supervise assistant coaches.
