Develop, implement, and oversee animal nutrition plans for ruminants, conduct research on feed ingredients, and collaborate with veterinarians and farm managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Experience in dairy farming or milking parlor operations will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of dairy cow milking procedures, milk hygiene, and mastitis prevention.
- Ability to operate, clean, and maintain milking machines and related equipment.
- Knowledge of animal welfare principles and basic dairy farm management.
- Hardworking, responsible, and able to work in shifts or according to farm schedules.
- Able to work outdoors and in a farm environment.
- Good observation skills to identify abnormalities in dairy cows and report issues accurately.
- Able to work well as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Training or certification in dairy milking operations, GMP, GHP, or dairy farm standards will be an advantage.
