Job Description
Chart is a cold box assembly and fabrication facility specializing in pipe welding for the air separation and hydrocarbon industries. They provide equipment and services to major LNG, petrochemical, and air separation engineering firms worldwide. The New Iberia facility is located at the Port of Iberia.
Requirements
- Weld carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel pipe, tubes and fittings.
- Read and understand shop standards, WPS’s, OSWI’s & work instructions.
- Spot weld defects and correct them appropriately.
- Clean welds by chipping, grinding, and applying welding methods.
- Meet ASME specifications or other requirements for pipe welding products.
- Work at elevated heights up to 75ft.
- Add’l duties may be assigned.
