Chart is a company that designs and fabricates cryogenic equipment. The Production Lead will oversee new employee onboarding, manage mold/line leads, and drive production from the floor team.
Requirements
- Onboard new employees and prepare JSA
- Modify timecards
- Provide direction to leads for Glass/Mold/Line priority
- Upload balance blades to system daily
- Distribute locks to new employees and have lock user agreement signed
- Manage Mold/Line lead and drive production from floor team
- Hold regular review sessions with employees
- Drive productivity from mold stations and operators
- Support with inventory counts
- Distribute PPE as needed
- Manage start up/break times and confirm employees leave/return according to schedule
- Assist with personnel assignments
- Provide support with knowledge of quality product from each station
- Support business operations when schedule changes occur
- Coordinate necessary mold repairs
- Drive the understanding of mold station goal to each operator
- Clear QC cart and move product to appropriate area
- Maintain level of 5S throughout shop and production area
- Complete incident report/4 Blocker for any safety issues within 24 hours
- Confirm TPM forms are completed by floor team at beginning/end of shift
- Report to scheduled shifts and set the example as a leader for the shop team
- Understand shop shutdown requirements
- Provide feedback to employees as applicable
- Coordinate employees per priority set by production schedule
- Promote a positive safety culture
- Set an example of leadership for the Chart 5s program
- Document all employee records in a timely manner
- Direct and coach team members to achieve department objectives
- Approve labor hours in a timely manner
- Monitor all Preventative Maintenance program on all Fans Shop equipment
- Responsible to maintain all JSA’s and sign-in records
- Responsible to lead and conduct Safety Meetings in a timely manner
- Support and lead the unloading of resin bulk deliveries as needed
- Supervises the activities of production personnel engaged in all facets of the manufacturing function
- Performs a variety of tasks assigned by Manager/Supervisor
- Collect and report basic production data
- Execute basic time changing transactions
