Job Description
The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring the timely completion and accuracy of statutory compliance and audits for the Australian entities. The role involves providing guidance to the Finance team and cross-functional team, performing general financial accounting and reporting, and completing Month End Deliverables on time. The role also involves liaising with SSC, AP, AR, and finance teams, providing guidance, support, advice, and exchanging information.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce/ Accounting with at least 10 years of experience
- CPA or CA qualified
- Experience in a complex multinational company
- Experience in interpreting and applying IFRS standards
- Results driven, ability to work under pressure and to short deadlines
- Ability to adopt to a changing environment and priorities
- Intermediate to Advance level in Microsoft Office i.e. Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
