Welder 6

Welder 6 performs complex and critical welding operations, including Mig, Tig, and pipe welding. The position requires experience with various types of metals and welding techniques. The role involves performing welding and finishing operations, training other welders, and maintaining documentation. The position is part of Chart's manufacturing process, producing various products.

Requirements

• Perform Mig welding on various parts
• Layout, assemble and weld according to drawings and work instructions
• Ability to judge the type and gauge of steel to be welded
• Accurately maintain required documentation
• Utilize visual examination of welds for defect
• Observe and practice safety procedures and policies
• Train and instruct other welders
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned
