2nd Shift Skilled Machinist

Wieland is hiring a Skilled Machinist to operate and set up machines on complicated work to close tolerances. The role involves performing setups for other operators, training on set standards, and making minor modifications to programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior manufacturing experience in a job shop
• 5-8 years of experience
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good written and verbal communication
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of basic mathematics
• Advanced blueprint reading
• Advanced understanding of GD&T
• Proper measuring techniques with a variety of gages
• Knowledge of ferrous and/or non-ferrous materials
• Strong mechanical aptitude
