Maintenance Technician

Wieland is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in providing effective and preventive machine/equipment/building maintenance within a manufacturing facility. The role offers training period leading to a year experience level, and is fully on-site. This position will be located in Heyco Reading, PA and involves welding, pipe fitting, and electrical work.

Requirements

• Assist in the maintenance of all process equipment.
• Learn the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Assist in building maintenance.
• Proficient in safe use of hand and power tools.
• Proficient in operation, preparation, and shutdown of equipment.
• Proficient in welding, pipe fitting, hydraulics, electrical (3 phase 480, PLC knowledge) and machine repair.
• Cross training required in roll grind shop.
• Approved to wear a tight-fitting respirator.
