1st Shift - Production Associate - Paint Line

Production Associate - Paint: As a CPI Production Associate, you will work on tasks that require mainly physical abilities and effort. Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products manually or by mechanized means. Assists the production operators. Moves and transports raw materials and finished product. May assist the operators with loading machines and positioning the work.

Requirements

• Assists the production operators

• Hangs fabricated parts on the conveyor paint line to engineering specifications
• Removes parts from the line once painted
• Removes any debris from parts prior to hanging
• Determines best practice hanging methods to maximize paint quality and load density
• Inspects hooks for burn off lifecycles
• Inspects and maintains equipment for compliance with safety requirements
• Corrects any safety issues prior to operating the equipment
• Inspects coated items for paint coverage and tests for coating thickness
• Performs some washer preventive maintenance tasks
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment
• Assists and trains others to hang parts on the paint line
• Continuously maintains a clean work area
• Disposes of trash and production scrap
• Assists in cleaning common areas
• Performs other related duties, as assigned by management
