Assistant Underwriter - Property Delegated Authority

Support underwriters in all aspects of underwriting and management of the account, provide comprehensive risk analyses and supplementary information to support the underwriting process, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Underwriting proficiency and knowledge across both the International and USA portfolios
• Monthly underwriting performance monitoring
• Communicating to brokers our underwriting and risk appetite
• Responsibility for the accuracy and upkeep of all written premium data on Chaucer’s Policy Administration System
• Providing statistical information to the underwriters when required
• Ensuring that all systems are kept fully up to date following amendments and endorsements
• Analyse the quality of data presented in underwriting submissions
• Regulatory Responsibilities: Assist with the completion of all required annual product review assessments
