Job Description
Check is a rapidly growing payroll business startup focused on simplifying payments for partners. This position is a Tax Resolution Agent, responsible for resolving tax notices quickly and accurately for clients, ensuring payment processing and minimizing risk. The role involves investigation, communication, and collaboration with various agencies to secure a smooth resolution process.
Requirements
- Triage and resolve tax notice queues by priority.
- Engage with federal, state, and local agencies to investigate issues and pursue penalty abatements.
- Surface complex issues to product, engineering, and compliance.
- Maintain and refine SOPs for agency outreach.
