Security Guard - Guest Services

Chelsea Piers is hiring a full-time Security Guard to join our Guest Services team. The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and overall well-being of our members, guests, and employees. Responsibilities include monitoring the facility, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns, and responding promptly and appropriately to incidents.

Requirements

• Private security license preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain on feet for up to 6 hours at a time
• Ability to be outside in the elements when on post
• Energetic, outgoing and enjoy working in a team environment
• Ability to convey authority in a respectful manner
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to remain calm and take control in any situation
