Lead Gymnastics Instructor - Field House Chelsea

Chelsea Piers Field House is seeking skilled Gymnastics Instructors to join their team in Chelsea, NY. Instructors will teach gymnastics classes to children between the ages of 1-16 and create lesson plans for various ages and abilities.

Requirements

• Teach gymnastics classes to children between the ages of 1-16 years old
• Create and follow lesson plans for a variety of ages and abilities
• Be prepared for class by arriving on time and knowing students names and where they are in the program progression
• Communicate with students, staff, and parents when required
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to each class
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Complete USA Gymnastics Safety Certification and SafeSport Certification
• Ability to mentor newer coaches and model best practices on the floor
• CPR/AED & First Aid certified
• USAG membership preferred (or willingness to obtain)
