The Geomechanics Fracture Modeling Specialist will provide fracture modeling support to enhance shale & tight (S&T) recovery, reduce cost, optimize completion designs, enable safe fracturing operations, reduce environmental risk, and safeguard the system integrity & reliability.
Requirements
- BS and MS in Earth science disciplines (Geology, Geophysics, Geomechanics) or Petroleum or equivalent Engineering
- 5-7 years of pertinent industry experience
- Experience in oil and gas industry
- Experience in hands-on geomechanics hydraulic fracture modeling for S&T applications (e.g. Kinetix, ResFrac or equivalent software)
- Experience with well operations and understanding of the interplay between subsurface conditions in unconventional assets and well performance
- Experienced in unconventional resources and proficient in a wide range of geomechanics analysis techniques to handle field and well data
