Software Engineer

Chevron is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Business Support Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The successful candidate will utilize software engineering principles to deploy and maintain data transformation pipelines and design data products and pipelines that are resilient to change and scalable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
• Experience utilizing SQL DML to query modern RDBMS
• Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles and how they apply to Data Engineering
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
