PPEC Assistant (PRN)

PPEC of Palm Beach is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care center dedicated to supporting medically fragile children in Palm Beach County. They offer a caring and nurturing environment with a focus on optimizing patient outcomes through staff collaboration and a positive attitude. This position is for a PPEC Assistant (PRN), requiring engagement with children through stimulating activities and assisting with daily care.

Requirements

• Assist the nurse in providing daily care according to the Plan of Care
• Promote an engaging environment where children can learn and develop
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Participate as a vital member of our multidisciplinary team
• Assist with changing, transferring, and repositioning children
• Assistance with meal preparation and feeding
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds safely
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work PRN or on an as needed basis
