Job Description
JOIN OUR TEAM AS A MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN! As a Mental Health Technician (MHT), you'll provide continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling to patients across various age groups from preschool to geriatrics.
Requirements
- Accurately record vital signs
- Exercise judgment in patient interactions and report changes to the RN
- Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team and provide information for development and revision
- Employ crisis-intervention techniques, conduct MHT-led groups, and use facility-approved CPI techniques
- Assist patients through discharge, guide in adjusting to life changes, and help with personal hygiene
- Comply with policies for a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, practicing universal precautions and responding to patient care priorities
