Job Description
Chief Buildings is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer to perform structural analysis and design for steel products provided by Chief Buildings in accordance with applicable design criteria. The role requires structural soundness, weight/cost efficiency, and adherence to schedules. This position involves moderate to high complexity with opportunities based on experience.
Requirements
- Perform structural design of primary and secondary structural framing and connections.
- Remain current in knowledge and proficient in use of AISC and AISI material specifications, current and recent editions of ASCE 7, IBC, the MBMA Building Systems Manual and MBS software.
- Maintain computer literacy in design software and other computer tools.
