Job Description
Chief Buildings is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join their team for the summer of 2026. The intern will gain practical experience in structural engineering at a metals building manufacturer, utilizing university coursework and AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and AISC/AISI material specifications. This internship will provide a foundation for full-time employment and offer insight into the metal building industry and Chief Buildings’ business.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Currently enrolled in a B.S., M.S., or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Structural Engineering
- Working toward an M.S. in Architectural Engineering
