Job Description
The Preschool Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences for preschool and Head Start children, fostering a safe and healthy learning environment. They encourage family involvement and provide support for children's development, utilizing positive discipline and age-appropriate activities. The role also involves administrative tasks like documentation, parent communication, and classroom management.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Early Childhood or related field with 9 credit hours in Early Childhood.
- One to three years experience teaching children age 3 to 5.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Measles (MMR) vaccination (or documented immunity) (preferred)
